"The retreat is so relaxing and uplifting, the experience is amazing, every year it gets better and better, and I enjoy meeting other women listening to their testimony of how good God is, it’s just a blessing to be able to step away from my daily routine and spend time focusing on my personal and spiritual well-being. I always look forward to building genuine connections, gaining encouragement, and leaving with a refreshed outlook."

The Daughters of Yahweh Sister‑to‑Sister Retreat has become one of the greatest blessings of my year. Every time I return to the Poconos, I’m reminded why this retreat is so special. The location alone feels like a breath of heaven — peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop for rest and renewal. The house is always beautiful, thoughtfully prepared, and instantly welcoming. From the moment we arrive, we’re met with delicious meals, warm hospitality, and a sense of sisterhood that feels genuine and God‑centered. What I love most is the balance:• Sisterhood that feels safe, supportive, and joy‑filled• Conversations that go deep and remind us we’re not alone• Workshops that are relevant, timely, and spiritually nourishing• Morning exercise and prayer that set the tone for the day• Relaxation and reflection that give space for God to speak• Encouragement that builds each woman up in love• Massages that add a touch of luxury and self‑careEvery year I leave feeling refreshed, strengthened, and poured into — spiritually, emotionally, and physically. It’s a rare gift to find a space where women can laugh, cry, pray, rest, and grow together without judgment or pressure. This retreat is exactly that.If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with God, reconnect with yourself, and connect deeply with other women walking out their faith, this retreat is truly something special. I could go on and on, but the truth is simple: it’s life‑giving, it’s needed, and it’s worth every moment.

SISTER TO SISTER RETREAT TESTIMONYMy first experience at the Sister to Sister retreat was in 2023, and it was very special. I was invited as a speaker. It was warm and welcoming right from the beginning. The atmosphere where we stayed was breathtaking. I didn’t know all the women in attendance, however by the end of the retreat they felt like true sisters-in-Christ to me. The sessions were uplifting. Quiet time is given, but I felt like I just wanted to still be around the fellowship. The food was fabulous. The team of ladies in charge of the meals are so on point. I don’t think they ever sleep. I knew I wanted to come back the next year without being invited to speak. I immediately registered when the window opened to do so. However, a few days before the retreat I was under the weather and could not attend. This is such a blessed ministry, the leader Lori brought my goodie bag to my house when she returned from the retreat. So, last year in 2025 I knew I was going because I missed 2024, and I knew I missed a blessing. I registered as soon as I could.  Walking into the home where we stayed in 2025 was breathtaking once again. I walked into the bedroom and was greeted with love gifts on my bed. Again, the women were all a blessing to talk to. The other amazing part is that you have a secret sister. Of course, you don’t know who has you as their secret sister during the first two days. You do know your secret sister by drawing a name from the bowl. However, throughout the day and any free time we have, we are instructed to fill up a small jar with prayers and encouraging words for your secret sister. Once we find out who that person is, we present our jar to them. It’s amazing the connection you get from this portion of the retreat. I still have my jar from 2023, and now my jar from 2025. Like I said, everything is so amazing.  I just want to share that a lot of people say, oh my it’s just another retreat. I beg to differ. Sometimes you don’t know or even understand why you attend, because you feel like you don’t need to be encouraged, or nothing has worked for you before. I shared with one of my sisters, that you being at a retreat is sometimes not always for you personally. God sends you on assignments and throughout the retreat He reveals it to you. So, my suggestion is not to discount this as just another retreat with a bunch of women, pouring their hearts out, sharing their desires. You may not be the person who needs to pour out their heart. You may be the one who needs to pour into someone else, just by having a one-on-one conversation. You make that connection, that’s when God reveals His full purpose for you attending this awesome retreat… Yes, I registered for the 2026 retreat, paid as soon as registration opened. Trust me, when you attend…you will not be disappointed.

As we approach year #5 for our sister-2-sister retreat I am reminded of all of the moments that we have been able to share… where we have been able to “reset”, “relax”, “recharge”, “refuel”, be “restored”, “renewed”, and “rejuvenated”… in the presence of our God, and with Sisters in the Faith who shared in Prayer for each person to reach their “fullness” in Christ Jesus… (however that looked for you). Where God could allow us to “jointly” and “individually” lay burdens down, seek HIS face, be “Filled” with the SPIRIT of HIS Presence, as we also “learned more of HIM and Ourselves”, “became creative”, “enjoyed the nature HE created”, tapped into the “health of living”, “laughed”, “sang”, “danced”, “ate”, and were given a “respite” that only a woman could understand was needed!

Far away from the “Mommy May I’s” or the “Honey, can you’s”, and the dreaded… “what’s for dinner” questions… we could come and be FED and FILLED… quite literally… physically and spiritually!!! We would be reminded of what it was like to have a sleepover with your friends (if that was something you were allowed to do… which I wasn’t growing up), and now be able to experience those moments with “TRUSTED SISTERS” that would take my heart, guard it, protect my vulnerable moments, and lift me out of my sorrowful ones” and (without being related by blood) “love us through” as we sought God for “Wholeness”… no judgement, without fear, we could bare ourselves to each other… knowing that in those moments No Tapes were running! We were Safe, with a Sister, and in HIS ARMS!

So… unfortunately, I can’t tell you who snores when they even take a NAP!!! Cause that too is privileged information… that we laid at the feet of JESUS!!!

But, I will say… that as each year has passed, and every session complete, I find that we have grown (in numbers and in faith), even when we might’ve thought we knew all there was to know… and done all there was to do… Something Else Happens… and we are forever Changed and Blessed!

And it has remained… And we Rejoice… We are SISTERS, and Daughters of Yahweh!!!
